At the conclusion of our May 17, 2016 DHLF Board meeting, members will adjourn to the state Capitol to meet with Assembly Members and state Senators.
Your participation in this trip is important as it keeps the DHLF and issues of importance to California’s district/municipal public hospitals on the minds of your elected state representatives. This was especially key in ensuring district/municipal public hospital participation in Medi-Cal 2020, the 1115 waiver and PRIME program. 2016 state legislation is still being introduced, but advocacy by hospital representatives will be key on each of the initiatives the DHLF supports/opposes.
